Welcome to our Junior Athletics Aspire Academy located in Worcester, Nunnery Sports Complex. Led by a fantastic team of experienced level 2 and 3 UKA coaches, including a former national junior sprint champion and GB athlete, our programme offers a comprehensive range for children aged 5-11. Join us to experience top-tier athletic development in a supportive and inspiring environment.
At our academy, children learn the essentials of athletic development which underpins all sports, through a variety of activities including sprints, sprint starts, long jump, and high jump. Our training sessions are enriched with fun games, relays, and friendly competitions that foster team spirit and personal growth. We also emphasize skill-building through obstacle courses, running drills focused on efficiency and speed endurance, and throwing mechanics that teach the fundamentals of force and motion. Additionally, our curriculum is designed to enhance agility, balance, and coordination, ensuring a well-rounded athletic education that is both fun and challenging.
