Safeguarding

Daley Thompson Academies (Aspire to Greatness) is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children under our care. Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy reflects our commitment to providing a secure and welcoming environment where children feel valued and respected. We understand the importance of being a stable presence in the lives of children who may have experienced abuse or are at risk of harm.

Children’s behaviours may vary in response to their circumstances, and we aim to foster open communication, supportive relationships, and a protective ethos to prevent harm. This policy applies to all staff at the Daley Thompson Academies, including full-time, part-time, and self-employed individuals. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Kate Staples, who also serves as the Schools Programme Lead, and our Deputy Safeguarding Officer (DSO), Guy Holland (admin@aspiretogreatness.co.uk), are responsible for overseeing safeguarding procedures. Our goal is to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children at the Daley Thompson Academies, and this policy outlines the principles and procedures we have in place to protect children from harm.
